M&E Quantity Surveyor/Cost Consultant

RPS are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant with proven experience to complement our rapidly growing and dynamic London team, based in the Farringdon Street office.

About the Role:

This is a client facing role working on large flagship projects predominantly within the Data Centre and Critical Systems sector, but also covering Commercial and Residential developments within the team.

With the benefit of confirmed workload for the coming years, this provides the opportunity to join established project teams and continue to grow the M&E cost consultancy offer within the London team.

Typically, you will be seeing projects from inception, through cost planning and procurement and on to post contract delivery and commercial management.

What is required to be successful in this role:

  • Professional outlook with excellent communication skills.
  • A wealth of experience in providing high quality cost planning, quantity surveying and cost management services to Data Centre clients and on projects in other sectors.
  • Ideally you will be Chartered – MRICS.
  • Ability to influence and successfully deliver within a client facing role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Confidence to work autonomously and within a team is essential.
  • Experience of working across various forms of contract.
  • Employers Agent experience is advantageous.
  • Ability for team working, influencing and networking.
  • Good problem solving with an acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills across all levels of management.
  • Enthusiasm for best in class delivery.
