Is a sub-contractor and Principle Contractor operating within and around the South, South East and Midlands. Providing high quality contractor services to many large Main Contractors like Vinci, BAM, Everlast and Galliford Try.

Based in Hertford and reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager. Providing high quality contractor services to many large Main Contractors like Vinci, BAM, Everlast and Galliford Try. You will be assisting the Senior Commercial Manager to increase opportunities for the business to secure contracts and to build and strengthen relationships. You will ideally have experience and exposure to both Sub-Contracting and Main Contracting, but Sub-Contracting experience in a multi discipline company is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in calculating and preparing estimates and tenders up to the value of £2 million.
• Analyzing and negotiating sub-contractor costs and production of sub-contractor orders.
• Producing high level procurement schedules, production and issue of purchase orders.
• Value management and cost control on projects up to the value of £2 million.
• Compiling monthly valuations and writing detailed cost reports.
• Accurately tracking and recording of variations and additional works.
• Arranging subcontractor payments.
• Calculating and preparing estimates for maintenance contracts.
• Financial management and compilation of monthly maintenance accounts.
