RPS is a leading global professional services firm of over 5,000 consultants and service providers.We are now looking to appoint an experienced and high calibre Administrator to work within our vibrant Birmingham office.


As an experienced Administrator with excellent organisational, written & verbal communication skills, you will work closely with our Office Manager to support our Consulting and Project Management business in a variety of administrative tasks. The role will best suit an enthusiastic self-starter with Excellent IT & English skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will most likely have gained experience within a management consultancy or professional services environment.


The role sits within our UK and Ireland Consulting business as we support our clients through a broad service offering including; planning and approvals, environmental consultancy, design and engineering, project and programme management and health safety and risk. Our sectors include property, energy, transport, defence and government, water and resources.


Your main duties will include:

  • Creating, formattingand rebranding word documents / powerpoints / spreadsheets
  • Logging and filing contracts
  • Overflow Reception calls
  • Printing contract documentation
  • Scanning and binding
  • Assisting the Business Support Director on H&S and ISO related administration
  • Submitting director expenses
  • Sending out general office / team diary dates
  • Reception cover for holidays / absence
  • Client / Market Research
  • Creating / writing and managing new Project Profiles
  • Creation of sector specific Capability Documents
  • Producing presentations for B2B’s
  • Creating / writing sector specific CV’s
  • Bid assistance – collating CVs and project sheets, completion of standard company information.
  • Notice Board updates
  • Assisting with admin associated to events – name cards / badges / registration
  • Archiving
  • First Aider & Fire Marshall (training will be given)


About you:

  • Previous office-based administration experience
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, manage expectations and manage own time
  • Efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Approachable and professional
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative– recognising a need and acting on it
  • Happy to help and a can-do attitude


Qualifications:

  • GCSE English
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
