As a key member of the Water Infrastructure Team at RPS, your role as Senior Engineer/Project Manager is critical to helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients. You will be working alongside a team of water project experts including Project Managers, Designers, Site Supervisors, Process Specialists and MEICA experts on a range of capital delivery projects.

What you’ll be doing:
Working within a large team of Project Managers, civil engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, health and safety specialists, drainage modellers, environmental specialists, and geotechnical specialists.
Undertaking and/or managing site surveys of existing water and wastewater infrastructure assets.
Liaising with utility companies and other statutory bodies.
Preparing conceptual, schematic and detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure assets including treatment works, pumping stations, sewers and pumping mains
Preparation of Appraisal Reports and Business Cases,
Supervision of Graduate Engineers and Technicians,
Preparing contract documentation for construction projects.
Managing construction projects.
Site supervision of construction projects.
Leading design team meetings and client liaison meetings as appropriate.
Business development and preparation of marketing submissions.
Who we’re looking for:
BEng/BSc/MEng Honours degree in a relevant engineering or Project Management course
Be working towards Chartered Membership (ICE, CIWEM, IEI or equivalent)
Previous experience in wastewater or water infrastructure design or project management
Good communication skills and ability to engage with all members of the project team
You should demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team sharing knowledge and best practice.
A full driving licence.
