What you’ll be doing:

  • Liaising with utility companies and other statutory bodies.

  • Site supervision of construction projects, ensuring application of current legislation, CDM Regulations, Codes of Practice and industry standard engineering design principles;

  • Attendance and contribution to Risk and Value Engineering and HAZOPS Workshops;

  • Review of Contractor Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work;

  • Witnessing Level 1 – 3 project commissioning and testing and acceptance of same on satisfactory completion;

  • Compilation and maintenance of the Project snaglist (snagging and recording to be co-ordinated with other RPS Supervisor disciplines on site) and ensuring satisfactory resolution within agreed time scales;

  • Provision of a project management support and advisory role to the RPS Project Manager

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience of a similar site role, ideally in the water industry

  • Evidence of relevant training, either in Civil or MEICA engineering or from a Health & Safety background

  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety on construction projects.
