As a key member of the Water Infrastructure Team at RPS, your role as Senior Site Supervisor is critical to helping us deliver great projects for our Water Industry clients. You will be working alongside a team of water project experts including Project Managers, Designers, Process Specialists and MEICA experts on a range of capital delivery projects.

What you’ll be doing:
Working within a large team of civil engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, health and safety specialists, drainage modellers, environmental specialists, and geotechnical specialists.
Undertaking and/or managing site surveys of existing water and wastewater infrastructure assets.
Liaising with utility companies and other statutory bodies.
Site supervision of construction projects, ensuring application of current legislation, CDM Regulations, Codes of Practice and industry standard engineering design principles;
Attendance and contribution to Risk and Value Engineering and HAZOPS Workshops;
Review of Contractor Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work;
Witnessing Level 1 – 3 project commissioning and testing and acceptance of same on satisfactory completion;
Compilation and maintenance of the Project snaglist (snagging and recording to be co-ordinated with other RPS Supervisor disciplines on site) and ensuring satisfactory resolution within agreed time scales;
Provision of a project management support and advisory role to the RPS Project Manager
Who we’re looking for:
Proven experience of a similar site role, ideally in the water industry
Evidence of relevant training, either in Civil or MEICA engineering or from a Health & Safety background
Excellent understanding and knowledge of Health & Safety on construction projects.
Good communication skills and ability to engage with all members of the project team
You should demonstrate the ability to work independently on site and as part of a collaborative team sharing knowledge and best practice.
A full driving licence.
