Site Manager
GHR are a main contractor for UK construction companies working across London, specialising in both Design and Build & Traditional Build Schemes. Building a long standing relationship with clients and delivering outstanding results are our core business principles. We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will ensure the construction projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Acting as temporary works co-ordinator and inspector
- Ensuring materials are called off and delivered to site in a timely manner and to comply with program requirements
- Ensuring that the works are built in accordance with program requirements
- Ensuring that the works are built in strict accordance with drawings, specifications, employers requirements and regulatory requirements
- Co-ordinating Building Control site inspection visits and closing out relevant actions items from said inspections
- Co-ordinating Warranty Providers site inspection visits and closing out relevant actions items from said inspections
- Co-ordinating Clerk of Works site inspection visits and closing out relevant actions items from said inspections
- Co-ordinating Health and Safety inspector site inspection visits and closing out relevant actions items from said inspections
- Compliance with H&S regulations, and ensuring that Health and Safety returns are completed as per regulatory requirements. This includes RAMS (collation/reviews/briefings), Site Inductions etc.
- Quality assurance on site, inclusive of co-ordination and completion of Stage Quality Assurance Sheets
- Ensuring GHR direct labour is resourced adequately and efficient working, in order to comply with program and budget requirements
- Ensuring GHR subcontractor labour is resourced adequately and efficient working, in order to comply with program requirements
- Collation and issue of weekly direct labour wage sheets
Requirements
- Previous experience managing a residential site is a must
- Experience managing mixed-use developments ideal
- Minimum 3 years’ experience
- Team player
- Experience on RC frames
